Clinical Supervision · New Westminster

A steady voice in your corner.

Clinical supervision for counsellors working toward their RCC, and for experienced clinicians who want a thoughtful collaborator on the hard cases.

Who It’s For

Supervision that fits where you are in your career.

Whether you’re early in practice and building toward registration, or seasoned and sitting with a case that won’t leave you, good supervision makes the work lighter and your clinical judgment sharper.

Supervision that’s collaborative, not hierarchical.

Supervision with me is a working partnership. We think through your cases together, look at what’s happening in the room (including what’s happening in you), and keep your practice both effective and ethical. I’ll challenge you where it helps and back you where it counts.

My approach is systemic and goal-focused. We’re not just debriefing sessions — we’re building your clinical reasoning, your use of self, and the frameworks you reach for under pressure. After 19 years of practice across individual and couples work, IFS, EFT, Developmental Couples Therapy, trauma, and Bodynamics, I bring a broad toolkit to draw from.

If you’re accruing hours toward your RCC, supervision is structured to meet the BCACC’s requirements and to genuinely prepare you for independent practice.

Supervision fees are typically a professional or business expense rather than something billed to extended health insurance. I’m happy to talk through what a regular schedule would look like for your situation.

Common questions.

Can supervision count toward my RCC registration?

Yes. I structure supervision to meet the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors’ requirements for supervised practice hours. We’ll keep the documentation you need, and just as importantly, make sure the hours actually prepare you for independent work.

I’m already experienced — is supervision still worth it?

Absolutely. Plenty of seasoned clinicians use supervision as ongoing consultation — a place to think out loud about complex cases, check their own reactions, and stay sharp and ethical. It’s one of the healthiest habits in our field.

How often would we meet?

It depends on your goals. Counsellors building registration hours often meet weekly or biweekly; experienced clinicians might come monthly or as cases arise. We’ll decide together at the start and adjust as needed.

Do you supervise couples therapists?

Yes. Couples work is a significant part of my own practice, so I’m well placed to supervise it — including EFT, Developmental Couples Therapy, and work with neurodivergent couples — alongside individual and trauma work.

Is supervision in person or online?

Either. My office is at 490–555 6th Street in New Westminster, and I also supervise by secure video for counsellors anywhere in British Columbia.

Let’s talk.

If you’re looking for a supervisor, reach out by phone or email and tell me a little about where you are. I’ll let you know honestly whether I’m the right fit.
